Who is private coaching for?
I work with thoughtful, courageous women who are ready to engage with a meaningful transition. Women who want clarity, alignment, and forward momentum. Coaching isn’t for passive reassurance. It’s for people who want to close what’s complete and intentionally step into what’s next.
Private coaching places are limited and offered by invitation; we’ll explore fit together.
What makes your coaching unique?
I work with compassion, empathy and a down-to-earth approach, tailored to meet you exactly where you are in your journey. Having been through multiple life transitions, and loss myself, I understand the complexities of change -whether it’s a desired change, or an unexpected one. I bring my own experiences and insights into our sessions, making my approach not only practical but deeply personal.
I offer counselling-informed coaching to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your challenges without judgment.

What is your background and experience in coaching?
I’m a certified coach-counsellor and Journal Therapy Coach with decades of work in education, training, and facilitation. I’ve authored 30 New Days guided journals and supported people to get unstuck, close chapters, and identify courageous next steps. This blend of lived experience and formal training supports both deep reflection and real-world action.
Is this therapy?
No. It’s coaching with counselling‑informed tools. If something outside coaching scope shows up (e.g., acute trauma), I’ll signpost specialised support. If you’re in immediate crisis, please use emergency support (see the last FAQ on crisis help).
What kinds of support are available and how do they differ?
I offer two forms of support:
Self-guided tools & journals: The most accessible way to engage with transition work at your pace. These are long-lasting resources you can return to again and again.
Private coaching: Focused, relational support for women who want tailored direction and momentum. Because I only work with a few clients at a time, we’ll explore whether coaching is the right next step in an initial conversation.
How will we decide which form of support suits me?
Instead of you self-selecting, we’ll use the conversation to understand where you are and what kind of engagement supports your goals. Some people benefit most from a single deep dive; others from a focused period of relational coaching; some begin with tools before exploring coaching. The goal is fit, not selling a package.
Request a Conversation and I’ll recommend the best fit.
What can I expect from a private coaching session?
We begin with priority-setting: what matters most today. Then we work with intentional structures to clarify direction and action. Sessions are practical, anchored in your real life, and always produce at least one clear next step.
What support do I get between sessions?
In short, yes. You can reach out via email or messenger to tell me your challenges and successes along the way! You’ll also get brief notes and your Next Step after each session.
Are sessions online or in person?
Sessions are offered online or if you are local in person is possible. Most coaching work happens online to keep it accessible and flexible.
What’s your cancellation and reschedule policy?
Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. I allow for flexibility in our sessions while honouring everyone’s time.
What does investment and payment look like?
We’ll discuss investment after we’ve had a brief conversation to clarify fit and priorities. I’ll send an invoice for your chosen engagement once we’re aligned. This approach ensures the support you choose matches where you are and what you want to achieve.
Do you work with employers or reimbursements?
Sometimes employers sponsor coaching. If helpful, I can provide an invoice and a simple outcomes summary. Coaching isn’t typically health‑insurance reimbursed.
How should I prepare for my first session?
Bring curiosity and honesty. If you like, jot down what feels complete, what you want to explore next, and one thing you’d love to move forward with soon. We’ll start there.
Do you give homework?
Yes, practical, real-life actions that help you integrate shifts between sessions. These are small, meaningful steps (like one conversation, one boundary, one act of clarity) rather than overwhelming tasks.
What about confidentiality?
Your sessions are private and confidential within the bounds of the law and duty of care. I don’t record sessions without explicit consent. Written notes are kept minimal and secure.
Are you available if I’m in crisis?
Coaching is not the right container for immediate crisis or risk of harm. In the Netherlands:
- Emergency: call 112 (police/ambulance/fire).
- Suicide prevention: 113 Zelfmoordpreventie — call 0800‑0113 or 113, or use their 24/7 chat at 113.nl.
If you’re outside NL, contact your local emergency services.
How do I start?
We can start with a brief conversation to explore where you are and what kind of support fits best, whether that’s a tool, a Power Session, or a period of coaching. You’ll walk away with clarity on the next step, not a sales pitch.
Still not sure?
Short, supportive, and focused on fit. You’ll leave with a clear next step whether we work together or not.
