The crisis is over. That’s when my work begins.

You got through it. But months later, something still doesn’t feel right. You’re functioning, and maybe even looking strong, but underneath, you’re shaky, exhausted, and wondering why you’re not “better” by now.

There’s nothing wrong with you. What you’re experiencing has a name. I call it the quiet aftermath. And this is exactly where I work.

Fay Kortleven – Coach / Counsellor

I don’t do motivational pep talks. I don’t rush you toward positivity. What I do is steady, practical, and grounded in how your nervous system actually works.

A calm 30-minute conversation. No pressure. No pitch.

I work with women navigating the quiet aftermath of divorce, personal loss, burnout, identity collapse, or invisible grief. Women who look fine on the outside, (competent, capable, “the strong one”) but feel shaky internally and blame themselves for not coping better.

If that sounds familiar, you’re not failing. You’re in the reconstruction phase. And I can help.

Fay Kortleven, coaching for endings, messy middles and bold beginnings (Veghel & online) - warm smile

Hi, I’m Fay. My own life was reshaped by profound endings — divorce, the loss of my former husband and father of our two sons, and the quiet changes in between. Those endings taught me that what comes after the crisis is often harder than the crisis itself. And that no one talks about it.

Now I help women navigate that exact phase. With calm, honest, nervous-system-informed coaching that doesn’t rush, doesn’t fix, and doesn’t pretend a good mindset solves everything.

I walk alongside. That’s what I do.
